Do you thing litner method is practically effective? I mean in higher level you have to study comlicated text with lots of vocab and slang and stuctures . you can noot enter them to litner box and work out seperately they are too much to deal with . and more over it is not only memorizing vocab in english.
    what do you think?

you have to study complicated text with lots of vocab and slang and structures

As long as words and phrases and sentences are concerned, the method will do and it's been tested and proved, make no doubt about it.

they are too much to deal with
That's what it's all about, Leitner is about mental process of active recall chunk by chunk, in fact it suggests learning words, phrases and sentences gradually.

and more over it is not only memorizing vocab in English.

Of course it is not, when when I say not I mean not with a capital N . Do you want to learn words apart from studying and practicing other skills? Leitner can help you a lot.

    FYI:

nowadays you probably see the ads on walls encouraging people to use G5...Well the G5 that introduced and illegally invented by a guy named Maleki or something is the well known legendary Leitner box invented by German science journalist Sebastian Leitner in the 1970s.

Yes, Leitner is an effective tool for learning words. Formerly, there was a paper type. Nowadays you can use some software either on your computer or on your cell phone. All these software support downloading different types and categories of words and if you look enough you can find libraries with examples that help you learn the word in context. Even there are some websites full of various card groups. Just search and get what you need.

I am studying at CAE level and still I find it imposible to enter all those structures and words into a software or box to practice seperately. i mean this book has all new words and studying only one page will take around 1 hour. how can someone enter the words one by one into another software and practice seperately . do you know how difficult and time wasting it will be? . Its imposible!!! for me.

I think leitner is only effective in primary levels of learning english not in advanced levels that you have to study a book which is full of new words . reading that book will take enough time of you and leithner make it harder and more time consuming to study. don't you think like that?

Tell me why you have to study all the new words in that book, if you are sitting for CAE my presupposition is that you have already had enough knowledge regarding reading strategies and vocabulary background which means there is no need to learn all the new words as you mentioned. I suggest you work on more reading strategies and stuff along the way, those strategies would definitely help you alot saving you time.

It depends on your purpose. Do you want to study the book or study the vocabulary in the book. I think this question answers your assumption.

Actually you guys made it more complicated. I am studing READY FOR CAE BOOK and of course it has so many new words and even after this book for CPE level, books has also many other new words. and even if u finish all these and start to read a short story again you will find some other new words . I mean if you try to study the book itself for 2 or 3 times it is more interesting and usefull rather than entering all thoese vocab in a box and spend time over it. it is an annoying job, you know. bringing interest into learning process is a major asset in learning and by using that box all the time simply you will get bored in a short time. also you cannot make a clear connection between the words and structure as you do whlie studying the book itself.
