    Is "who is me" correct?
Or we should use "who am I"?

Of course "who am I" is correct. A Persian rough translation of "who is me" returns the feeling you should get when you hear it in English. You may find "who is me" in some kind of poems, but obviously this usage neither obeys strict linguistic rules nor regular patterns of speech.

Sorry it may not be relevant to the question, but this rang the bell of something interesting which I read in a grammar book written in Farsi by Abbas Farzam ages ago. In this book Farzam has said that the typical response "It's me" to the question "Who is it?" or "Who's that?", is grammatically wrong, on the grounds that a subjective pronoun should follow the verb, and not an objective one; "It is I". [ Note that even there are some common and established mistakes in Farsi phrases which we use them in our routine conversations"

What do you think? And, if " It's me " is correct, which grammar point/s will substantiate this?
