Layout of the Forums on the front page & creating Lobby

Hi,

Following are my suggestions for betterment:

1- I feel that a place where you come and say something which it could be a simple hello, i'm here , how's everybody, it's a hot day and etc... needes to be generated and I think "Lobby" could be a good name for it, but it can be repalced with better alternative/s. Discussions center is not a suitable for that, since first of all you need to have your raised topic approved, and besides, what you are going to say in this section won't be necessarily something of all the members' interest and one or two or a few people may continue the first posted message, and it may not be needed to be continued for any conclusion. But, what is posted in discussion center is different from the very informal and daily chit-chat talks between members [ which is to be done in the "Lobby"].

I make my saying more clear with this example; Suppose that today I just want to log in and say Hey everyone! what a hot day. Isn't it? By the way, don't forget to watch World cup final football match tonight. Which team do you think will take the cup home?

So, if we don't have a place called "Lobby", then you just tell me where this my above-mentioned example message should be posted?


2- Have you ever seen the dashboard of a car or a more complex one like an airplane's?
with a glance you have everything in the range of your sight, you don't' need to scroll all the way down to some one or two meres below the axis of your sight!

I don't know what technical problem or difficulty might be on it, but I feel that If all the forums and sections were arranged and designed in a square & flat arrangement rather than be lined down in a series of rows, you would spend less time and find the desired Forum / Section quicker.
