As the name suggests, you will have a chance to improve your listening, writing, reading and punctuation.

There will be a dictation every month.

I suggest you reading the lessons in " The Principles of Dictation " forum and do the exercise there too, because you will get loads of information about spelling and dictation.

Follow these instructions:

Download the dictation file.

1. Before you listen to the audio files check to see if the level is co-ordinate your level of understanding.
2. Listen to the audio file(s) once and do not write anything, just listen.
3. Listen for the second time, try to write what you hear.
4. Listen for the third time and check what you have written. correct your mistakes if there are any.
5. Post your answer, other users are not able to see yours,nor are you.
6. Wait for your result to be visible later on.
7. Your score will be calculated to see if you are the dictation winner of the month.


Check if you have any mistakes in:


Capitalization,punctuation and spelling.

Read the explanation carefully to know your mistakes.




Important:

Since the dictation exercises are all in PDF format, you will have to have Adobe Acrobat Reader, or Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended to make use of the exercises.
