Correcting our compositions

First, I would like to thank you for your time and help and remarkable contributions to others. Second, I wonder if we [ all the members] can put our writings / compositions here, so that you and others edit and correct the errors and mistakes. We can even discuss over the corrections and learn more while delving into the details.

I keep my fingers crossed to get this request approved.

, I am used to reading posts by users no matter what , and try to correct them and explain the mistakes they have, if that's the one you have in mind, you can refer to that thread to learn about your mistakes. Of course putting your compositions and writings there where Greight suggests is just fine but I think it is not necessary to add and talk about the mistakes in a new thread or even there where the compositions are but

Alireza is right, I think no need for a new thread to discuss over the problems and it can be done and carried on in the same thread where the composition / a piece of writing has been raised. This is much easier to follow stories and avoid any who's who situation.

Should members name the new thread the same as the subject of their compositions? Or the subject of the thread should simply read as "please correct me"?

If it is a composition or essay or let's say piece of writing, the essays forum is the correct place. If there is any question regarding the correctness of a single sentence, phrase or paragraph, then the question can be placed where it belongs in your questions area. If it is related to vocabulary in Your Questions in the vocabulary forum, if it deals with idioms in Your Questions in Idioms section and so on.

. It is ok and if you can gather more mistakes of that type I will create a new forum and divide each post into a new thread.

Well then I think new threads have to be started in each forum under the names, for instance, "Vocabulary Mistakes", " Idioms Misused", " Grammatical Mistakes,etc., There are only my suggestions. If you can think of some good names for the threads, there you go. BUT there is something wrong. we have to search different forums for different mistakes we have in our compositions,don't we? I still stick to my last post here quoted below.

I repeat myself, there is a thread titled " Mistakes in posts by users and more" Where mistakes of different types are being discussed. I am totally disagree with scattering the explanations about mistakes in different forums. as Greight suggested

Sorry, it seems there is a misunderstanding in the meaning of forum and its difference with a thread. This is a thread, it consists now of 7 posts. This thread is in Your questions | سؤالات شما forum which in turn is in Writing forum. Your questions | سؤالات شما can be considered a subforum to Writing forum.

Now with the correct understanding of the meaning of forum, please consider my posts again and if then there would be any ambiguity let me know.

Hi, thank you for your follow-up.

Alireza, I have a comment about the place you mentioned again. Its title reads "mistakes in posts by users", and it is supposed to be a place where moderators have corrected the users' writing mistakes in different parts of the site [every forum and sub-forum], and to me it does not suggest that we can generate something new.

I don't mean that it could be the wrong place for putting our writings to be corrected, actually it didn't have the impression on me to go right there and put my writing, as it can happen o others as well.

Anyway, to kick off this activity I'm going to post my first stuff in "writing" forum and later moving it to the most appropriate place won't be a difficult job.
